First Prize: $550 per couple
Second Prize: $350 per couple

About the Contest
Compete in any of the preliminary rounds between Jan 17 – Feb 11 for your chance to advance to the championship (CISC Opening Night – Thursday, 2/15). Only the first place winner from each club’s last elimination round will move forward to the finals. Check with your participating club about schedules and elimination rounds. The championship will be held on Opening Night, Thursday February 15, 2024, at the Chicago International Salsa Congress!
Competency in salsa, mambo, bachata, and cha cha cha, as well as general lead/follow, partner interaction, etc, will be considered during judging at the finals.
No professionals, lifts/tricks, or choreography. For the purpose of this contest, “professional” is defined as someone who makes their primary living from dance.
